What Next Order says its products do

From 2 posts on Next Order's own blog, read 12 Oct 2026. Each sentence is Next Order's claim in our words, numbered to the post it comes from. We have not used these systems.

What Next Order says about its POS

Next Order says its POS keeps taking orders when the internet drops, queues payments and syncs everything when the connection returns.2 It says the kitchen keeps printing during an outage.2 It says its kitchen display lists orders by priority and includes prep timing and sold-out controls.2 It says its kitchen display lets staff drag rush tickets to prioritise them, with colour-coded coursing.1 It says POS ticket search now works by table, tab name or the last four digits of a card.1 It says its POS shows clearer offline queue and sync status for staff.1

What Next Order says about its online ordering

Next Order says orders from delivery marketplaces and direct orders arrive on one kitchen ticket after go-live.2 It says one menu update pushes to its direct site and every marketplace.2 It says each item can carry a separate price for in-store, the direct ordering site and each marketplace.2 It says its branded ordering sites support Apple Pay and Google Pay and are built mobile-first.2 It says pickup slots are clearer when several sites share one brand URL.1

On our rate card Next Order: From $159/mo, billed yearly; commission: 0%.

What Next Order says about loyalty and marketing

Next Order says guests on its loyalty program earn points, redeem rewards and get a text when a reward is waiting.2 It says loyalty tiers have a configurable grace period before a guest is moved down a tier.1 It says email and SMS marketing are built in, using the same guest database.2 It says review requests prompt happy guests to leave a Google review and route unhappy ones privately to the venue.2 It says venues can export their guest database at any time and that it does not sell it.2

What Next Order says about reports and bookkeeping

Next Order says daily sales reports can be emailed each morning, split by channel, service mode, category, hour and staff member.2 It says it can sync daily sales into Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks.2 It says a bookkeeper can be added with reports-only admin access.2 It says a scheduled CSV export is aimed at a venue's bookkeeper.1

How Next Order says a switch to its system runs

Next Order says each new venue gets a dedicated onboarding manager who builds the menu, sets up payments, ships hardware and trains the team.2 It says the manager then follows up once a week through the first six weeks after go-live.2 It says the move from sign-up to a first direct order typically takes around 30 days.2 It says hardware ships pre-configured with the venue's store name, Wi-Fi profile, service modes and printer pairings.2 It says its support team covers anything that stops a venue trading, 24/7, on every channel.2 It says payments are activated on Next Order Payments during setup.2
